I usually make a set depending on what my Sims need, or eventually on what my friends at the Sims Daily forum need, but this time, it's a bit different. I tried to learn new method of meshing for sofas, and as excercise, I opened the "Maison du Monde" catalog randomly, and decided to recreate the first set with sofa I would find. And it's what I've done (p. 138 of the 2008 edition), and how the Rockabilly set is born. As there was on the picture, high chairs that were looking like the bar stools we got with the stuff pack Fast Lane, I've added a matching high table.

Oh, and I got a surprising mail lately, asking me if I could post more pictures of my game... *lol* Guys, but I have a whole site just about my game, it's called Around my Sims, and you'll find there pictures of my town, of my Sims, or their houses, of their lives... Much more than you ever wanted to know, actually! *lol*

I should have done that looooong time ago, but then came Pets and its mess... and as I have only holes in the head, I had forgotten to post these, but... the brilliant LorenRose13 has made a portable version of my chest-likes! Read more about them here!

D'ordinaire, je crée un set d'objets d'après le besoin de mes Sims, ou éventuellement d'après le besoin de mes petits camarades du forum TSD, mais cette fois, c'est un peu différent. J'ai essayé d'apprendre une nouvelle technique pour dessiner des canapés, et comme exercice, je m'étais donné à faire le premier salon sur lequel je tomberai dans mon vieux catalogue "Maison du Monde", et c'est tombé sur le salon Rockabilly (p. 138 de l'édition 2008! ;)). Comme les chaises hautes du catalogue ressemblaient à celles de Vitesse Ultime, j'ai ajouté une table haute assortie.

Oh, et j'ai reçu un mail un peu surprenant me demandant si je ne pourrais pas poster plus d'images de mon jeu... Mais j'ai tout un site rien que pour ça! Des images de ma ville, mes Sims, leurs maisons, leurs vies, tout y passe, et plus que ce que vous ne sauriez demander! C'est Around my Sims. ;)

I've uploaded a site about my game, cleverly called "Around my Sims" (I'm soooo original at naming my web sites, aren't I?). There's nothing to download there, but maybe you'll find inspiration or ideas for your own game. You can make a tour in my town, a frenchy renovated Sunset Valley renamed Sandy Valley, by my friend Bibi, meet some of my Sims, read about their lives... The site isn't complete yet, but it should be updated often. :)
